I had a lovely experience at this hotel, which felt more like a welcoming guest house than a traditional hotel. The rooms were basic yet clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location is fantastic for visiting the national park, making it super convenient for early morning safaris. However, if you’re looking for luxurious amenities, this hotel may not meet those expectations. Overall, it’s a great value for money, especially given the included meals and tours.

Le Green served as a fantastic base for our adventures around Udawalawe. The hospitality was top-notch, and we particularly enjoyed the safari experiences. Le Green was a mixed experience for us. The highlights included the amazing home-cooked meals and the well-organized safari. However, we had some major concerns with our room's size and the owner’s attitude towards our pre-arranged safari, which soured our stay. Overall, it’s a place with great potential, but some aspects definitely need improvement.

The tailored safari arrangements and the knowledgeable driver made for a fantastic adventure. However, we encountered some serious cleanliness issues and maintenance problems during our stay, which were quite disappointing. The warm hospitality stood out, but the facilities need significant improvements.
